Have you ever found yourself doodling on the side of a page during a boring lecture or slow moment at work, sketching spirals, patterns, and stick figures almost without thinking? "Creative Mind" came from that feeling during an artist's block. To try to boost creativity, I just started free drawing with paint with no direction, letting whatever was on my mind spill out in color. I have worked on this piece for many years, adding to it, taking breaks, and returning to it until it finally felt finished. Layers of color, noise, patterns, and scattered ideas create a chaotic but oddly connected visual map of what my mind feels like when trying to create.
