"Marilyn and Audrey Reimagined" began in Fall 2024 as a commission for a friend, but was deeply inspired by the original work of James Danger. For years, I had a poster on my wall of Audrey Hepburn giving Marilyn Monroe a tattoo—a piece that became tattered with time but stayed in my heart. Recreating it with my own twist felt like the perfect way to honor both the image and the inspiration behind it.
What started as a personal project quickly inspired me to take my art online and share it more widely.
